Who we are
Donors Forum is a nonprofit membership association
of funders based in South Florida and those who fund here.
Our
120+ members are the most engaged funders in the South
Florida. They are as diverse as the region -- from one
of the largest private foundations in the country, to small,
brand new, unstaffed family foundations. We also have corporations
with giving programs, community foundations, donor-advised funds,
United Ways, public foundations, individual philanthropists,
and government funders as members.
Our members support a wide array
of social and community causes. Each
provides funding between $25,000 and $140 million annually. Collectively,
they provide more than $725 million in grants each year.
Although
their organizations and funding interests vary widely, the tie
that binds them is a commitment to excellence. Our
members strive to be the best, and to make educated, effective
funding decisions that have the greatest impact in the community.
